Who I'd like to meet: I have met many of my idols but I would like to have met Hank Williams, Johnny Horton and Bob Wills. Pappy Boyington and Ronald Regan, so many greats that are not around any more. I have the greatest respect for Ricky Scaggs and Emmy Lou Harris for their dedication to traditional music. I have the greatest respect for the contribution that Buddy Killen made to our business and, I try to run my agency with the energy and dedication that Billy Deaton had.

I have been in the music business since my teens. I play several instruments; guitar, piano, bass, even accordian. I started playing pedal steel in the 60's. I don't consider myself a singer. I like traditional country. I like the blues and over the years have played with the best. I like good music.
