Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, for the past 36 years, I have held on strongly to my creative side. Though i am a natural math wizz and great to bring along as a walking calculator to stores, my true love has& always will be music and the creative arts.
Growing up in a musically and artistic talented family what other choice would there be for me? Giving thanks to my estranged father for his gift of voice, my uncles for their gift of music and arts, and Gramma Johnson and Aunt Nessa (RIP) for their strength and belief, for their understanding and support of my gifts and career choice when no one else would! Though there have been few steady supporters in my life, i have been able to continue to write and grow through all adversity.
A single mom raising four children, I am still learning to never look back, to hold my head up high and have faith in the gifts GOD has put in me! My life, trials and tribulations have become a never ending canvas for my writings.
Creatively, I write, song lyrics, poetry, books and plays. I designed a small clothing line "Curvaceous" which I plans to release in the near future. N.O.E. is designed for younger (teenage) girls, who today find themselves (Physically) looking 21 but just being 10-16,and are looking for more conservative, but still hip and fun, clothing styles that still allow them to look their age and still be stylish.
Professionally I have had over 10 years of experience working side by side with Retail, Marketing & Promotions Co. doing street team work, promotions and talent recruitment. As well as serving on a committee of a local talent showcase setting up venues, showcases, interviews and more.
I am also owner of a Gift company; Family Gifts & Creations, which is a unique gift company offering unique gifts, one of a kind baskets from relaxation to romance, snacks to birthday baskets, for all seasons and events. Our baskets have been used as gifts, raffles prizes, giveaways from personal presents, to showcases, to charity events.
I am also CEO of Black Tiger Promotions, my new baby. Recently created to incorporate all the media, marketing and entertainment business that i am part of. Whether promoting a music artist or an author, or a poet or myself, this is the company that i have created to allow me to accomplish those goals.
