If newcomers could see
no joy or fun in our existence,
they wouldn't want it.
We absolutely insist on enjoying life.
So we think cheerfulness and laughter
make for usefulness"
(page 132)
Tradition One -

personal recovery depends upon A.A. unity."
Declaration of Unity -

To keep our common welfare first;
To keep our fellowship united.
For on A.A. unity depend our lives,
And the lives of those to come."

Thank you for thinking of me. How great is the truth that "we" are all in this together. How great is the support when "What is popular is not always right and what is right is not always popular"! Kailani (Bay Area resident, Berkeley 1979-85)
Casey loved his family and friends, tattoos, cooking (he was about to go to culinary school in NYC) and music, lots of music! He played the guitar and drums and went to local indie rock shows with his brother, sis-in-law and friends every chance he got.
Thanks for being a friend and supporting Casey. He is missed so much.
When it comes time to choose- Have a designated driver, call a friend, call a cab or be a true friend and take the keys. There's too much to lose by drinking and driving.
