competitions in his wake, winning awards and

Geoff Stokes - Bass and Vox
Years of touring and gigging has seen Geoff
become the rhythmic backbone of tADb.
Geoff's solid harmonies have elevated the band
to new levels.
Andy Giles - Drums and Vox
A recent addition to the band, Andy has a long
association with well known bands around
Melbourne. Joining tADb has introduced him to
a new world of country rock and there is no
turning back.

The Aaron Daniels Band are a lively, energetic and hard hitting 6 piece country rock group from Melbourne Australia.
Originally from Tyler Texas, Aaron Daniels started the band with rhythm guitarist Dave Watson in 2003. Together with Lucas Woodward ..s, Dan Ebbels on lead guitar, Geoff Stokes on bass and Andy Gilles on drums the band has gone from strength to strength due to hard touring, building strong support throughout country Victoria, New South Wales and Central Queensland as well as radio attention throughout Australia, Europe and the US. Their unique blend of country, rock and blues coupled with great original song writing style, has seen them make a quick rise to prominence.
Tamworth 2005 saw new beginnings for the band. Taking out ‘Aristocrat Entertainer of the Year’ award and runners-up in the ‘Tamworth Battle of the Country Bands’ in their first year fuelled their ambition and desire to achieve even greater success!
Tamworth 2006, 2007 and 2008 successively, reaped countless awards and nominations including; ‘Best Country Band’ in the TIARA awards for their song ‘Time Waits for No One’, winners of the inaugural ‘Coca-Cola Battle of the Bands, and the ‘Tooheys Battle of the Bands’. There is no doubt The Aaron Daniels Band has established their mark as one of the dominant live performance bands in Tamworth, but they were also rapidly making their mark across Australia.

Over their years, the band has been growing its support and fan base with countless shows throughout major festivals, musters, rodeos and charity events including the Starlight Foundation, Need for Feed and flood benefits (local and interstate) to name a few. The band has never forgotten their grass roots, and continues to play at many local pubs and other venues where they receive great love and support from their home town fans.
Their new album ‘Leaving Here’ recorded live by Doug Brady at Armstrong Studios was launched this year receiving great acclaim from Capital News’ Deborah Minter in a recent review

ABC’s ‘Rage’ and ‘CMC’ on Foxtel have released the Aaron Daniels Band video clip ‘Long Hard Road” to be followed up with another video clip off the album, ‘Leaving Here’. The clip for ‘Long Hard Road’ was shot at the National Finals Rodeo at the Gold Coast Convention Centre where the Aaron Daniels Band played support for Adam Brand in January 2008. Both these songs, along with other songs off the album, have been selected for the soundtrack for upcoming Australian movie release ‘Shadows of the Past’ by film producer and director Warren Ryan. This movie will see the Aaron Daniels Band doing a national tour at the movie premiers in each respective state. The movie is also to be released in the United States and Brazil with the Gold Buckle Network and CMT USA keen supporters. This could see the band also touring the States in 2009.
In recent times the ADB’s ‘Once in a blue moon’ track has been receiving major airplay in Belgium (Belgian’s like country music too!), and the single ‘Long Hard Road’ is being played via the NFS (Not for Sale) compilation album over radio stations Australia wide.
