I'm Aaron, I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I'm 25 years old and I drum professionally. If Im not on stage somewhere or teaching, I'm practicing or writing. I've been playing since the middle of '94 and I've taken it very seriously since day one.
I love and am endorsed by Sonor drums, I use drums from all of Sonor's German lines (S-Classix, Delite, Artist, Designer*, SQ2). Also I use a Roland TD-12 set and more snare drums than you can shake a stick at, pun definitely intended. I'm also really into Sabian's HHX, Prototype and some of the Signature cymbals. Dark and trash really turns my crank!
What most excites me is odd rhythmic phrasing, odd note groupings, and things that are other than what they seem. (Making common time sound odd, or making odd time so natural feeling you'd never know til you tried to play it) Gary Chaffee, Gavin Harrison, the Meshuggah boys, you all rock my world.
