David Lee Roth quotes: A lot of rock bands are truly a legend in their own minds.
He who knows how will always work for he who knows why.
I used to have a drug problem, now I make enough money.
I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.
It doesn't get better, it doesn't get worse, but it sure gets different!
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a yacht big enough to pull up right alongside it.
Music is like girlfriends to me; I'm continually astonished by the choices other people make.
People ask me how far I've come. And I tell them twelve feet: from the audience to the stage.
Rap is poetry to music, like beatniks without beards and bongos.
The light you see at the end of the tunnel is the front of an oncoming train.
The problem with self-improvement is knowing when to quit.
The world's a stage, and I want the brightest spot.
When you get something like MTV, it's like regular television. You get it, and at first it's novel and brand new and then you watch every channel, every show. And then you become a little more selective and more selective, until ultimately... you wind up with a radio.
You stick your head above the crowd and attract attention and sometimes somebody will throw a rock at you. That's the territory. You buy the land, you get the Indians.
I am not this way, the way I am, because I'm in a band. I'm in a band because I'm this way.
Van Halen can keep providing the rain and I..ll keep providing the parade.
I don..t get all the women that I want...I get all the women that want me.
You know what rock musicians are? They are hung up, neurotic, over-weight hippies with sex problems.
It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how good you look.
The only thing I'm allergic to is criticism.
Dog eat dog world that it is, I think now's a good time, on new year's, to decide whether you're going to be a hot dog or a little weinie.
Aaron Oberg and Jason Craft have been playing together in various bands for over ten years. In early 2006 Aaron and Jason began playing open mics in the Roanoke, VA. Aaron and Jason started inviting different friends to play their mix of Pop, Rock, and Original songs with them each week. After being asked about playing full gigs, AjF (Aaron, Jason & Friends) seemed to be a suitable name. In late 2008, after three years and a successful run with the special series "AjF Plays Songs of The Police", Jason decided to take a leave from the group. Aaron then enlisted his cousin Jarl Hamren to take over the bass/vocal duties. In early 2009 AjF decided to add a new special series of shows with "AjF Plays VAN HALEN". In steps Jarl's brother Preston Hamren to take on the guitar acrobatics of EVH. AjF also retools their regular show adding many popular tunes, favorites and new originals for the 2009 year.
