Called “a riveting artist” by G. Acosta of the Washington Post, classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan rides the razor's edge of the guitar. Aaron juxtaposes new and traditional repertoire into exciting and thought provoking programs. He released his debut album, ‘Tracing a wheel on water’ in 2006 and was featured on the Boston Classical Guitar Society's first compilation. As a soloist and chamber musician, Aaron has performed in Spain, Italy and on both US coasts. He is the founder of Spanish music and dance ensemble ¡Con Fuego! and the founder of the New Lullaby Project, which has commissioned over a dozen New Lullabies from composers throughout the US. Born in the classical guitar capital of Oklahoma and raised in Colorado, Aaron graduated from the New England Conservatory in Boston where he studied with Eliot Fisk & David Leisner. His main teacher is Dmitry Goryachev. He currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts. More info at www.AaronLc.com
