Aaron Coleman has distinguished himself in Houston as a gifted poet with an often witty, wicked performance style. Now he and his music partner and collaborator, artist and musician, AHMED III (aka D.E.F.P.), have collaborated on the "highly listenable" Phylosoulfree. This debut CD, released on their 2Osos Productions Label, includes 10 original songs, among them the radio-ready “The Only One” and “We Can Get There,” which features a fat, ’80s-tastic hook. Ahmed’s "impeccably-crafted" production sets this release above most grassroots CDs. • Phylosoulfree is available through Vibe2be@gmail.com /////////////////////////////////////////////////////
