Pretty much anything not performed by posers. Current mainstream Hip Hop & Rap is pretty much all posers these days -- read up on the artists and how the studios are forcing them to prostitute themselves to glorify violence and misogyny to the suburban market instead of accurately describing their experiences (which is how Hip Hop & Rap started -- it was really good for a while, until artists started selling out)
Movies
Depends; action, adventure, a well written and executed whole
(please, not a remake of an old movie and not an adaptation of a book)
Television
Don;t have time to turn on the TV (though a friend hooked me onto Serenity)
Books
Pretty much anything, the more intricate the better. Mysteries had better not have a surprise twist at the end, though.
Heroes
Norse, Greek, Roman, Irish, Egyptian, Indian, Native American, Japanese, Chinese, and other Mythological heroes. Also, modern DC, Marvel, and other comic superheroes. Also, Adams, Addams, Gaiman, Prachett, and many other author's heroes.
