Aaron is an active professional musician in the Bay Area, and performs frequently in numerous classical, jazz, and contemporary ensembles. He is a frequent substitute bassist for the Berkeley Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony, Stockton Symphony, Modesto Symphony, and Berkeley Opera. His musical theater experience is vast, and has performed with most of the regional musical theater companies in the East Bay Area. Equally proficient on the electric bass, Aaron graduated (cum laude) from CSU East Bay (formerly CSU Hayward) with honors, and Mendocino College with honors. Aaron worked for 5 years as a staff accompanist at Las Positas College in Livermore, CA., and is currently a lecturer at CSU East Bay where he teaches the Beginning Cello and Bass course for the Music Education Degree program. • Sounds Like

My Double Bass: An early 20th century Lowendall, made in Mittenwald, Germany, restored by Michael Olivola. Unusually wide lower bout, french shoulders & gamba corners, BIG bottom end; says the most incredible things, and fits up against your body juuusssst right... the object of my obsession. French Bow made by Robert Dow, C-Extension crafted by Pat McCarthy. Aaron also enjoys playing Ibanez SDGR basses, Gallien-Krueger combo amps, SWR cabinets, Ampeg SVT amplifiers, and Mark Bass amplifiers.
