About me: By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
For more than 125 years, the American Association of University Women has been promoting education and equity for all women and girls, lifelong education and positive societal change. The power of AAUW stems from its 100,000 members, 1,300 branches, and 500 college and university partners nationwide. AAUW continues to contribute to a more promising future and provides a powerful voice for women and girls — a voice that cannot and will not be ignored.
Who I'd like to meet: Catalysts for change from all over the nation. From Alabama to Wyoming, anyone interested in advancing the equity and education of young women and girls.

Thank you for being YOU & thank you for being a part of our community! We have you in our top friends and have your video on our site to help spread awareness. We would like to feature you on our site next month. If you are interested, send us a short bio.
MySpace wiped out Dawn’s account recently. We had built her page up to 35,000 friends. We would ask that you spread the word as to what happened to see if we can get some of Dawn’s friends back before her Video is released.
There will be aspects of Dawn’s video that have never been done in a music video before. And probably will never happen again. As unique and special of a person Dawn was to those who knew her.
Our goal was to make this video a reflection of those same qualities that Dawn possessed. As well as sending a message as it relates to cancer.
MySpace may have killed the number of people Dawn’s video will reach. And even though Dawn is no longer with us. We won’t like MySpace kill her spirit.
