Abandon Ship! was formed in the summer of 2007 by Kyle Whitaker ( Vocals/Guitar ), Andrew Trout ( Drums/Effects ), Todd Douglas ( Bass/Vocals ) and Sid Rival ( Guitar ). With the common belief that the corrupt, covert, and manipulative leaders of our country are participating in or are in fact controlled by a much greater power, the members of Abandon Ship! have focused on exposing the truths and restoring the ideals of our forefathers. By blending influences from classic and alternative rock, Abandon Ship! has managed to present a performance unlike any other while focusing on issues such as secret societies, political corruption, and the idea of a New World Order. The United States Constitution and Declaration of Independence were written by highly respected, working men who understood honor and moral values, not by men who were born and bred to filibuster and mislead the public to pad the wallets of themselves, their friends, and their families.
