I am a tenor and baritone saxophonist living in Berlin, Germany. I am active in a wide range of music, from roots funk to afrobeat, free jazz, soul and hip-hop. I play in the Afrobeat Academy band, which currently works with the Ghanaian guitar legend Ebo Taylor. The Afrobeat Academy has also recorded and toured with Oghene Kologbo, the original tenor guitar player from Fela Kuti's Africa 70 band. I play with the Bavarian funk masters Poets of Rhythm and their good friends Karl Hector and the Malcouns. I am a member of the Ulrich Gumpert Quartet, and his larger Workshop Band. I also play saxophone in the band of Xavier Naidoo: Germany's number 1 soul superstar... ..
