Music
Goth, Industrial, Death Rock, EBM, IDM, Symphonic Metal, Viking Metal, Black Metal, 80's hair metal, glam rock, punk rock, 80's, Trance, Drum n Bass, music form the 60's like Janis Joplin and Joan Baez, music from all Genre's if I can find talent in it. I may not like an artist but if they are talented I can give credit for that. My tastes are varied greatly. But I am very passionate, mainly about "underground" scenes and rock. I am not a big fan of hip hop, rap, counrty, and things like that, though from time to time there is some good stuff that I find within those genres. I love the cello, not limited to bands like Apocalyptica, Melo-m, Rasputina, but classical orchestras. Some favorites musically, are Epica, The Cure, Code 64, Petter Heppner, Diary of Dreams, Apocalyptica, Boy George, Prince, Annie Lennox, etc. I will have to get back to this and add artists by genre, and my artists listed were in no particular order.
Movies
Tim Burton, Johnny Depp those are big ones for me. Donnie Darko is on my list of movies that I like.
Television
Anything worth my time, like Discovery, Smithsonian, or History channel, and some comedy, Metalocalypse is hysterical, old "The Young Ones" and yeah I know it is not on tv. I like nerdy TV shows and strangly shows about aliens, the occult and criminals.
Books
I sadly only read school stuff, because it is the only reading I have time for.
Heroes
My best friend David is my hero. People who are selfless and do good things for others with no expectations in return are heros. People with immense courage and strength, fighters who never give up, those are heros to me. Also Steven Hawkins, that man is amazing, if you do not know who he is please go jump off the nearest tall structure, head first.

About me:
I am a pretty cool chick. I am far too complex to describe in a little box. I for the sake of simplicity can best be described as a child of the 80's who grew up on hair bands, Prince, Boy George and bands like the Cure and Depeche Mode. I discoved the Cure when I was 8 years old, it was all over from that point on. The esscance of my soul is surely that of a metal chick who is very much a goth girl that loves industrial and EBM. I love symphonic metal, black metal, goth, death rock, industrial, 80's, etc. My veins are filled with the passion of music, without it I would cease to exist. I am very passionate about many things in life. I love learning new things, especially about other people, cultures, religions, art, languages, etc. My dream in life would be to travel the world and document all there is to know about the world around me on all levels. Anthropology intriges me because of this. An educational goal, though one I am leaning away from would to be an anthropologist that focuses on religion. It is not a well documented area of the feild, but one that I am quite passionate about. With that said, I am sure the thought comes up as to what my religious beliefs are, I will just state that I think religion has a purpose for some of humanity. I think that people should be educated to understanding differences between themself and other people, this includes religion, culture, preferances, likes and dislikes and thought processes, I think this mindset would be condusive to a more enlightened and peaceful planet. That is just my belief. Sorry if I offend you in my opinions, it is not my intent. I am open to and about many things in life. I love nature, but am terrified of freak accidents, like falling off of cliffs, and wild animals. I have a knack of attracting wild animals, they seem to seek me out and scare the hell out of me. LOL I am interested in all kinds of people, I feel that I can always learn something from them, however my preferance is to associate with people that have at least a few things in common with me. I have no room for close minded people and those who generally are jerks. So if you are a liar, theif, or generally unplesant, please do not talk to me.
I am in school, initially for computer science, now likely some other computer field, not because it is the thing I am most passionate about but because it is something I enjoy that I can use to exploit other interests in life. As I said religious anthro is quite a passion, but requires too much education and has too many limitations in lifestyle. So I will see where school leads me, but it keeps me very busy to say the least. I love to go to see live bands, probably more than any other activity. I also love to go to clubs, however I usually do not dance unless it is to gothic music because that is what I can dance to. I have a small selective group of close friends and preffer to keep it that way. Everyone else is an aquaintance, because I do not use the term friend lightly. Friends to me are people I plan on knowing forever and loving unconditionally. All I ask is that you are honest, loyal and have integrity, if you have those qualities we will probably get along. I am sarcastic, so if you think at any point that I am being mean you probably just do not understand my sense of humor. I am opinionated and speak my mind, cencorship is not something I do very often. I speak the truth and do not candy coat things, so if you want my honest opinions be warned that you will get them. Most of my closest friends live far away in other states and countries, that is part of being from LA. However those people are still deeply loved. I am a bit flakey with calling people and keeping in touch, I am super busy, it does not mean I do not think about people all the time. So generally keeping in touch with me is easier to do than to expect me to keep in touch with you. Hmm what else is there to say.... hmm I dunno, ask me anything, I am NOT easily offended, but do not take that as an invitation to be an insensative moron.

This is one of my most favorite bands EVER!! Nothing more beautiful than an opera singer and heavy metal, ahh, it makes my heart swoon. They are on tour now, so check them out.
Apocalyptica is amazing, ontop of being a great band they are really funny, sweet, charming and good looking men. Seriously some of the nicest guys to talk to and have a drink with, but be warned to go pee first if you have a weak bladder and are prone to accidents from laughing too hard...
As sad as it may sound, I've seen people completely change (from good to bad as well as from bad to good) in a blink of an eye and not reversing back to their old self. Thankfully when it's a good transformation, unfortunately when it's a sucky one. HOWEVER, I'm not having warm fuzzy feeling that this one is going to get back to a good state... More like a big TOSS IT OUT feeling!!
wow well said and yesss i do very much agree especially if someone is going thru a rough spot in life because i know ive been there myself. Best bet is wait it out like u said and see a persons true motives weather it be for ones tough time in life which is understandable or the person in reality is an asshole. Good Luck!
