My Dad for being such an inspiration and a great supporter in my life. Being there for me.
You can read more about me, the person who runs the ABBA News Service. (It's not only about ABBA, there is lots more that has nothing to do with supergroup at all.) in the blog section entitled "That's Me - My personal blog."
The ABBA News Service is incorporated with the ABBA Day and ABBA Weekend, Abba Tribute Bands Worldwide, Abba Tribute Weekend and a number of forums available on myspace.com where you can chat about and discuss a wide range of subjects on ABBA and related projects.
ABBA's success continues to be massive and ABBA were fashion leaders during their career. They embraced the glam rock era and could be as outrageous as the next group or artist during the early 70's. Their clothes progressed from colourful, satin and jewels to the 80's leather and lace and suited look. Below are some fine examples.
Agnetha, Frida, Benny and Bjorn may no longer be recording together as ABBA but they remain in the music business, recording, writing and campaigning on environmental issues. Here are a selection of pictures of the ABBA members today.
ABBA made many appearances on TV around the world and continue to do so with their current careers, however enjoy the following nostalgia trip of picture clips. Maybe you'll be able to name some of the shows.
Who I'd like to meet: First and foremost friends, ABBA fans and like minded people. (Please note if your profile is set to private your request will be denied because I prefer to read about new friends before clicking that button.)
Health and loving life is a number one priority. Make the most of it while you can because you never know what's round the corner .... Take every oportunity that comes your way you never know where it may lead. Things do happen for a reason .... but I haven't quite figured out what it is yet. If you know what the reason is please let me know!
In the meantime meet some people with whom I've had the opportunity to chat with. The famous and not so famous. Some are family, some are friends, some are work colleagues and one or two are people I have wanted to meet.

Here’s a video of beautiful nature scenes and the music of ABBA! The song is called “Move On” and it’s one of my all-time favorite songs by any musical artist(s).
It’s from the 1978 album “ABBA-The Album.” I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
I'm still feeling silly with weekend, so here's another video. It's called "ABBAs Last Video."
You've probably seen it before, it has the ABBA puppets lip-syncing to ABBA's songs. And the real members of ABBA make short cameo appearances in the video.
Hi Kathryn, I'd like to share a favorite ABBA video with you. It begins with pictures of Agnetha. Then Benny at 1:07. Björn appears at 1:55, and Frida at 2:18. The song ends at 3:05.
My favorite parts are: 0:10 Agnetha as a child, 0:19 Agnetha playing piano, 0:29 An adolescent Agnetha in a 60s hairstyle, 1:05 A short video clip of Agnetha being her usual charming self.
1:39 A short video clip of Benny. I’ve been told that I looked like Benny when I had a beard.
2:23 Frida as a child, 2:28 Frida with a gap-tooth smile that kind of resembles Agnetha’s smile, in my opinion, 2:48 A rare photo of Frida from the 60s.
Now for the contest. I have a bag of my kid’s leftover Halloween candy from 2001 that I’ll give to the first person who can identify the non-ABBA celebrity at 00:36 and correctly say what connection this person has to Agnetha.
I also have a giant sized, chocolate Easter bunny, from 1999, with only one bite taken out of it that I’ll give to the first person who can identify the non-ABBA celebrity at 00:59 and correctly say what connection this person has to Agnetha.
Ok, let the contest begin! YIPPEEE!!! Now if you’ll please excuse me I need to slip into my Halloween costume because I'm late for a Halloween party!
This comment is not going to be received well by everyone
First I will say That everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if its wrong..lol
OK..I have been asked many times what I thought of the movie Mamma Mia.
I am not a fan of musicals and I have only seen on youtube the parts that have the guys cameos and the end credits. That was enough for me.
Dont get me wrong I appreciate the work of all the actors involved but, Sometimes you cant do better than the original.
Only Agnetha and her friends can sing their songs to my satisfaction..I can hear some of you know.. but like someone said "Opinions are like..(insert name of a body part), everyones got one" and that is mine
I think it was great in the fact that it rekindled an interest in ABBA and their music.
So if you are still with me.. speaking of originals.. This is the original version of Thank You for the Music from 'ABBA the Album'
yes that was Agnetha and not Doris Day
And to whoever messed with my Frida page, I'm gonna clean the floor with your face if I find you
You can see my day has started badly and later, I will probably regret doing this but what the heck, I'm only human at least thats what they tell me..
Best Wishes...Bill
go ahead and delete this..its kinda long if not I'll delete it on my next visit yes I do visit everyone.. I just may not say anything everytime
