Q104’s Allan Fee Botches the bands name - On Saturday March 15th at the "Jump Back Ball", Q104's Wilde and Fee had the duties of introducing Abby Normal before they started playing. Allan Fee had a little issue getting the name right! Allan had Abby Normal's Dave Warner on air the following Monday to tell the funny story - check it out:

What no gigs in April? Load up the truck and head to New Mexico...Ill find you guys a gig somewhere...you got a place to stay as long as you dont mind dog hair.
Those Horns going through the crowd were absolutely fabulous! Thanks so much for yet another treat for the ears last night at the Boneyard guys! You were all so great as always and my feet can't sit still when you play! See you again soon! Oh yeah & and thanks so much for the holla! I was however underdressed. You guys are a black tie event every time! Very classy show! Merry Christmas to all of you and your families!
Another fan-friggin-tastic show - at the Boneyard! Just got home safely! (I know you were worried). Thank GOODNESS that "blizzard" they were calling for didn't happen. I just don't know what Dawny & I woulda done if we weren't able to come dancing.
Oooooh, which reminds me - ever try to do a funky version of "Come Dancing" by the Kinks? Uh... yeah, a bit of an 80's fan up in here.
Thanks for the dedication - Feeling somewhat special right about now.
Hey fellas! Do you think you can start Saturday night's show around 10:30pm (instead of 10pm)??? We are going to see the North Coast Men's Chorus with members of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra at Lakewood Civic Auditorium at 8pm that night. We might be in Mayfield a little later than 10pm. Thanks for changing around the world so that it can revolve around us.
ha ha ha ha.
See you Saturday... just save the best tunes for later in the evening! Can't wait to hear "Turning Japanese" again - hope you've been working on it cause Dawny & I need a really good calf & thigh work out!!!!!!
NO THANK YOU ALL! We had sooo much fun and you guys are awesome! We will see you on the 15th. Happy Thanksgiving to you all and your families! ROCK ON!
Is it just ME, or is anyone else totally sore from last night's "Abby Normal's Super Ska Ab & Leg Workout"??? I think I have shin splints!
You guys, as always, put on an awesome show! And, I (non-drinker, non-smoker) feel hung over from all the dancing! LOVED how you put together your new 80's tune, by the way... Turning Japanese. (I really think so)!
Alright, let me know when I can start promoting the work out sessions - I'm ready to get toned up to some more Abby Normalsizing!
