That's one of the finest pieces of soul ever written for the world. I spent a good portion of my life, specially when the knocks got hard, boppin to J.J. Jackson. Never saw anyone else representing it. Once again, I must throw props.
You cannot show it to the Laker Girls. I know you want to show it to the Laker Girls but you can never show it to the Laker Girls. Keep Mr Weenie in the pants. Always in the pants.
See, now that's a fucking terrific song. I usually hate profile songs. But that was a breath of some cool, crisp air. Well played, holmes. Well played.
The best part about Big Suze ending up with Johnson is how many times Jez and Johnson repeated the words "indecent proposal." That, and that he is named "Johnson" and she is named "Big Suze."
How did the wedding go? I'm a bad friend, I know. I will send you my music one of these days. Don't worry, I'm still working on the red velvet cupcake.
One of the most memorable drinks I've ever had with someone, was when you had a gin and tonic with me on my 18th Birthday, on October 29, 1998, after an equally memorable card with a well oiled man was handed to me for the occasion. You joined us in 1509 or was it 1510? It was dark and some film was on. You finished your drink and cordially excused yourself after wishing me a happy birthday. I didn't realize until much later why that was so significant and I won't explain as I'm sure you know. Over the following years, we saw each other less and less, and exchanged fewer words, yet you always expressed a genuine concern for me but always with a smile and a warm wish of hope. I'll never forget that. You are a good man, Andrew.
