Sydney’s only Metal Club Abduction-X relocates & helps resurrect a piece of Metal History..
Abduction-X launched on Friday 13th January 06 and quickly gained a large following of regular party-goers enthused to find a club diverse enough to play everything from Alternative Elektro, Metal and Industrial tracks never before heard in clubs. After a good stint of running every Friday night at T2 (Taylor Square), over all three levels, ensuring there was something for all; Abduction X along with its legion of loyal punters have parted ways with T2 with the aim of incorporating live bands into the night by moving to a venue well known for its Metal ties--The Lewisham Hotel.
The newly revamped “Live House” (the previous home of Sydney’s longest running metal club The Haunted Castle) is equipped with a powerful new PA, new stage, multiple rooms, Pool tables, 3 smoking areas, Exotic Dancers early in the evening (what better way could there be to kick off a night of metal mayhem?!), giant screens, pub priced meals and a sound and lighting system able to give justice to the diverse musical collection of the ABDX DJ’s
Sponsorship from organizations such as Warner Music, Roadrunner Records, Sony’s Red Label, Riot Distribution, Fas Productions (Uk), Listenable Records, Gallery Serpentine & Post Mortem Records to name a few, ensures that ABDX regularly holds the official launch’s for new metal artist releases from Australia & Abroad, as well as being able to exclusively offer limited edition giveaways and concert tickets to its punters.
Combined with the incorporation of live bands to its repertoire, the move can only further cement ABDX’s position as Sydney’s Leading Metal Club.
