About me:

I am a writer. My main fields are history and ethnology in Pyrenees (south West of France). Published several books (Lacour, Alan Sutton,...) my researches are anthropologic and archeologic on « pyrenean anthroposystem ». I am also writing a book about Heavy Metal and heroic Fantasy... Under my another name ABELLIONN the pyrenean god of sun in my area, I am currently writing a « Heroic-Fantasy » / Sword & Sorcery genre book about the Metal World, illustrated by the talented Jean-Pascal Fournier. It will be published in 2009 by the "Camion Blanc" Publishing Firm in Rosières-en-Haye, France. The book's subject matter is inspired by and addresses the cultural codes linked to the "Sword & Sorcery", "Heroïc Fantasy", and "Metal" genres at large. Throughout this study, I pay homage to "Heavy Metal". I show how "Metal" is first and foremost a cultural, perhaps even a philosophical movement. And ABELLIONN carries on to work on his own books for several projects and publishers. Please do not hesitate to contact me, should you have any questions.
