What is Aber Roc Soc?

Well it's a society, based in Aberystwyth, celebrating Rock Music. IN ALL SHAPES AND FORMS!!!!!!

We all know what it is......9pm till 2am at the Angel Inn, every Tuesday, we a have a Rock Night. And what is cool is that you the people get to play the music, so that there is no one who should go wanting. If you want to hear it, play it. Plus, we have events, none Tuesday night stuff, which you shall be told about here.

The reason it's £6 is to cover the 3 bands and PA hire. Thanks to RocSoc the Angel is free or it wouldn't be possible. Hope to see you all tonight.
Aberystwyth RocSoc	Jul 16 2007 11:41 PM Just to let people know, tomorrow (as detailed on the above poster) will be costing £6 entry. It is steep, but its to see 3 really good punk bands, starting at 9, headlined by Citizen fish (Two of the band members are also in The Subhumans for anybody in the know. http://www.myspace.com/citizenfishofficial, just listened to a couple of their tracks, they're good dammit), with support from Offbeat Heroes (http://www.myspace.com/offbeatheroes) and Three Minute Warning (http://www.myspace.com/3minutewarning) Normal RocSoc will resume post gig until 2 am. Theres been a lot of interest from inside and outside RocSoc, will be nice to see the room relatively full again :)
