San Francisco is one of the most eclectic cities in the world, boasting within its manageable seven square miles, an edgy urban culture coupled with a historical and timeless charm and a population that is one of the most diverse in the world. San Francisco's legacy of progressive style and cultural sophisitcation sets the ideal stage to be the conduit of musical expression, with all of the influences and inspiration necessary to create the soundtrack of a modern, urban society. San Francisco is the the backdrop behind the creation of anywhere but here.
Oliver Voigt was born in Germany and began writing music at the early age of 8. After six years of Organ training, he was tired of playing what others had written. After multiple attempts with no success to break through in the music industry, Oliver started exploring the dance music genre and scored a deal with his first demo. Multiple dance releases followed the demo with a short lived chart success in the German dance charts. Oliver moved to LA in 1999, in hiatus of music composition and rekindled his passion for creating music opon moving to San Francisco in 2003. In March of 2006, after writing dozens of songs, Oliver placed an ad on Craigslist.org, a San Francisco-based online classified forum, in the hopes to find the voice for a music project that incapsulated years of development.
Austin Phillips had just moved to San Francisco after graduating with his degree in Government and International Relations in the summer of 2005. A California-native and an identical twin, at a young age, Austin had acquired a passion for music. Playing bass and piano through high school, he worked as a music director for a large church in Northern California while in college, only to find himself desiring a different musical direction. With a strong background in music performance and songrwiting, he had been casually seeking out oppurtunities to tap into San Francisco's music scene when stumbling across an ad he found on Craigslist, under the musician's forum. A songwriter/producer who happened to live within 5 blocks from Austin's apartment, was looking for a vocalist for a recording project.
The day that Austin responded to Oliver's ad, they met. Instant chemistry was the beginning of a strong friendship and a shared passion for popular music coupled with a commitment to make a product that we would be really proud of was the context that created anywhere but here.

Sounds great Austin. I think Let it All Go is my favorite but they all sound great. Haha moving beyond the EOT days. The production is also really good, too. Looking forward to hear more stuff. Take care man.
