Abigail's Interests
|
| General | 2006-2007 Shelby 4-H Club milk taster.
owner of Isaac Jamison Brown (Logan, Ohio's 2004 "Highest Ranking Goat Overall").
owner of Isaac Harold Brown (Logan, Ohio's 2005 runner up for "Best Coat/Teeth").
recipient of the "Meredith Whittier-Brown College Fund for Ambitious Future Wives" scholarship | | Music | Father fell asleep in his chair during a family radio hour last year, and when "Classic Harp and Piano" finished, my sisters and I listened the beginning of the next programme through the transistor. Most of us twelve agree now that we regret permitting such promiscuous music into our house, though we did quite enjoy Josh Groban. | | Movies | Altogether, they are too loud. | | Heroes | Pat Coleby |

About me:
Mother believes that one should never talk about oneself, for the speaker knows not of the listener’s trials. One should always keep a quiet face and docile hands, just like the submissive grass that remains safe during a windy storm (unlike the upright tree, which is blown down). One should never talk, especially in the presence of one’s Father. He is the only one encouraged to speak aloud, especially during family meals, gatherings, automobile rides to and from Church, and weekly radio hour. If one had a male sibling, he too would be permitted to speak as often as Father, and not just to announce the presence of a meal or a requirement of the family farm. Sometimes one wishes that one were born a male, but at these times one should remember what Mother says about speaking aloud.
