At a little girl, I remember walking around my backyard singing my made-up songs as raindrops began falling from the sky. Years later, I still sing my made-up songs but this time with an umbrella, and the city is now the backyard I walk in. :)
There once was a time when I couldn't sing...and I didn't have an option. That was pretty devastating. I developed vocal nodules in highschool and dealt with 3 years of speech therapy, surgery, and vocal rehabilation. Though I was told that I may never sing with my full voice ever again, God has graciously proved that to be untrue. During that time, God really re-focused my heart and renewed my passion for music.
I have been privileged to perform in several different jazz/cover and worship bands, but am thrilled to be embarking on my solo project! Three of my songs are featured on the Song4Food charity album (www.song4food.com) that released this Fall. There are 11 other incredible artists on this album that I'm certain you will love! Until I become a famous rockstar, I am working as a hairstylist, writing, and playing occasional venues while working towards recording an E.P. ;)

I moved to Murrieta...good ol' I.E. Broke up with the bf so I came back to be closer to my friends and fam..I miss san diego already! I hope business picks up for you..I transferred to the Regis in Temecula last week and just found out they need a manager in Escondido so I'm getting promoted and going there...luckily cause I was gonna have to start hookin just to pay the bills! ( I know you miss me and my inappropriate banter!)

WOW ABIGAIL!!!! I think you've played that for us before, but I've never heard the recorded version...it's FANTASTIC!!!! You know you can sing along to the cd if you have just the music recorded, or you can play our piano, whichever you like, but I'd like to hear you sing it again!!!
Hey Abbs! I love the new song! And disregard the message I sent you..for some reason it was saved as a draft and I was trying to delete it and I sent it on accident. whoops! Anyways, where are you working?? How is the new job going? I'm sad I couldn't come see you perform..I really didn't know I'd be moving! Maybe you can come up here and do a gig..plenty of dive bars in the inland empire! heehee...or my friend's are in a few bands, maybe you can join them...what would you prefer...stoner rock, led zepplin cover, or 70's and 80's cover band? ;)
