10.14.08 ::: ABV @ HOT TOPIC
A Birdsong Valentine was selected to be apart of the 2008 LBM Music Sampler that will be availabe for FREE at all 750 Hot Topic locations around the US. They will be joined by MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK, CAPITAL LIGHTS, MY CHILDREN MY BRIDE and a handful of other great bands. CD's will be available for FREE starting October 26th, 2008. Only 8,000 pressings have been made so get them while they last.

10.12.08 ::: CHICAGO NOISE MACHINE
Nine Chicago rock bands are uniting to form Chicago Noise Machine, a partnership of musicians that will collaborate on a series of concerts and compilation albums over the next year. A Birdsong Valentine, Algren, Bullet Called Life, Echoson, Heavy the Fall, Lucid Ground, Reverie, 72 Hours, and Simplistic Urge hope to draw mor=" URL e attention to the local music scene in Chicago by coordinating their performance and promotion efforts. The kickoff Chicago Noise Machine show will take place at The Cubby Bear (Wrigleyville) on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 7:00pm with all nine member bands performing. This will be the start of something special!

10.8.08 ::: SINK OR SWIM EP FINISHED
The album is finally finished. Tracking and Mixing went smooth with producer MATT MERCADO @ Sonic Palace Studios in Oak Park. Mastering with Doug McBride @ Gravity Studios in Chicago went even smoother. FREE downloads of the album are available on the myspace page and MP3.com. Album artwork is being finished up by Jaime Radar and then will be sent out for pressing. Stay tuned for the CD RELEASE PARTY TBD!
