Formed from the ashes of other local bands, Abject Horror was founded in august of 2006. Beau and Jason both formally members of the groups A?ATHY and Occams Razor had permanently disbanded and in its wake created a powerful new project out to transcend beyond the barriers of any scene. The mission was to create a band that an audience could believe in again. With new members Chris Summers and Tommy Dumas (drums, and bass respectively ) from the bands Initium and A Day After, a bold new sound was formed for the ear of musician and listener alike.
