Mixing chaotic, frenetic lines, brutal breakdowns, a dual guitar attack and beautiful, ambient melodies, A Blessed Tragedy is doing something unique with the overly cookie cutter metal/hardcore genre.
A Blessed Tragedy formed through a love of hardcore, deep friendships and a heart for ministry. Comprised of members of many respected local Mineapolis punk, emo and hardcore bands including Mainstay, The RedLined Diary, .theburningseason., Tripl3 Thr3at, and Risk The Gallows and dedicated musicians from all around the twin cities, these five men are more than just a band, they are a unified brotherhood with the one goal of spreading hope and light in a dark world. After finally solidifying their lineup, A Blessed Tragedy is poised to make their mark on the local music scene in Minnesota with their blend of raw energy and emotion and a jaw dropping live show.

I'm a vocalist/songwriter seeking guitars, bass, drums,and keyboards for Spirit-filled, ministry focused, hardcore worship band. I have been praying and writing for a little while and have been feeling God move me to finally start searching for those who have a like mind in purpose for reaching out into not just the scene, but the world in general. This is not a band to just be a band and say "We believe in Jesus, and that's why we do this.." Not a hellfire and brimstone with pointed finger force feeding people religion, but showing the love of Christ through volunteering in local shelters. Street witnessing. Maybe prison ministry? Giving to the poor. Praying with people. Sharing our testimonies on and off stage....however the hand of God molds this project, but that it be molded as His ministry and not just another "Christian Hardcore Band" The time is now and the harvest is in need of harvesters.
