A spyre is a tapering conical or pyramidal structure on the top of a building. The word is derived from Anglo-Saxon, meaning "spear," and used in the Romance languages meaning "spirit." These four friends from Boise, ID depict exactly that definition. A Blinding Spyre’s raw energetic Punk/Post hardcore spirit stands out and spears through the bland musical styles of today.
The ideas, music and lyrics are original and in your face. It is music to make your hair stand up on end; to mosh to, jump to and dance the night away. A Blinding Spyre is currently recording a 6 song EP at Dreamwave Studios in Nampa, ID. With the completion of the EP in October of 2007, A Blinding Spyre plans to tour locally and regionally supporting its release.
Having dual functionality, a spyre, with its reminiscence of the spear point, gives the impression of strength and reaches up toward the sky in a celestial and hopeful gesture. A Blinding Spyre is strong and is making their way through this torn music industry without a thought of surrender. They have played many shows over the past three years and have shared the stage with bands like “Flatfoot” and “The Classic Crime”. As well as have ranked in Seattle’s Bodog Battle of the Bands.
A Blinding Spyre has rocked many stages from large to small and many venues from house shows to Studio 7 and The Boise Venue. The band intends on working the Pacific Northwest over the summer and fall and throughout 2009. When you see "A Blinding Spyre" listed on the playlist, you’d best make it a priority to be there! Raw, Explosive, Energetic, and Unforgettable. Keep your eye’s peeled. You just might be blindsided.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

hey u! how ya been? hope things are going good. YES! I do too, but I can't breathe, I can't sleep and my head is throbbing....I went to the Pharmacy last night and she hooked me up, so I hope with these meds I can get to feeling better.
