heres something about the songs: I wanted to win over a girl and im shy so I wrote the harmonica to 'Hidden In the Day' to call her from across the room and it worked. I wanted it to be the first song I recorded but after 2 years I only had one sentence. I thought maybe its a sighn I shouldnt make music i was very depressed and lost the girl. The next day all the words came to me. - 'The Actress' woke me at 2 in the morning and I recorded it first take in bed so thats why it doesnt sound so clear but I think the atmosphere is important
- 'Dont Slip Away' is about watching someone run away from themselves and 'Roll Out Lucinda' is a song about coming back to yourself
