I like all Gothenburg style Melodic Death and Thrash metal, all riff-intensive rock and industrial, and most progressive, ambient and post-rock music. I also like heavy music with slow, acoustic-electric refrains, experimental jazz and fusion, and trip-hop. Of late, I seem to prefer energy to atmosphere and weird time signatures to catchy hooks. I also love all Swedish, Finnish and Celtic music, be it metal or just plain traditional.
My top 31 makes one hell of a playlist, though.
