Ray's Influences: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Pretty much all of the 90’s stuff. Early likes as a kid were INXS and George Harrison (My mom had to tell me that he was a Beetle). New likes and influences are coming from more metal influences like Five Finger Deathpunch and 36 Crazy Fists. Ray is forever influenced by the music life itself tends to make and the reactions of those who listen.
** A-Bomb Nation is currently in the studio recording some more of the originals to share with you - STAY TUNED!!!***BAND MEMBER BIOS***Ray Rogers - Ray wanted to be in a rock band since he was 12 and saw Guns N’ Roses late at night on MTV’s Headbangers’ Ball. (Those were the days….) He first started on bass but he broke it, sent it back to Sears and they sent him a guitar instead. His mom played Alto Saxophone and gave him her instrument to play in the school band. Ray learned music from school and then taught himself the guitar. By 16 he started playing guitar in bands. By 19 Ray was writing his own music. Until he was about 25 he played guitar or bass in all original bands. His singer in his band asked if he was interested in playing guitar in a cover band on the side. Ray agreed. Turned out that this was kind of like going back to school and proved to be quite beneficial. Some of the bands that Ray has been in are: Burnt Sienna, Scumble, Down On Sally, Stronger Than Seven, Soulmine, Not Guilty, 3MTA3, Guilty As Sin, Freak Of Nature, Badd Juju, and Banzai Kitty.
