Where to start? We have many popular authors and some unexpected gems, as well... If we don't have it we'll be more than happy to travel the globe to find it.

About me:
Our goal at ABFAS is to introduce and connect readers to a wide array of authors that come to visit us in Leavenworth, Washington. From popular fiction authors such as Debbie Macomber, Kristin Hannah, Ivan Doig, and Earl Emerson; non-fiction authors such as Helen Thayer and Paul Roberts, as well as newcomers like Kevin Emerson and Gayle Davies Jandrey, we help build relationships between readers and authors. We have a wonderful local following and are centrally located in Washington’s most popular tourist town.
With an author-themed inn located above the bookstore where authors often stay during a book signing, just steps away from great restaurants and popular shopping, we’ve become a favorite book signing destination for authors visiting the Pacific Northwest. We enjoy the unique ability to offer authors a fantastic opportunity to meet their current readers, find new readers, and have fun in Leavenworth at the same time. Of course, with an average of 6 book signings a month, we offer readers a similar, fun-filled opportunity. If you are an author interested in having a book signing at our bookstore, check out our blog, "How do I get ABFAS to carry my book and schedule a book signing?" If you are a reader and want to know who's coming to ABFAS check out Events on our web site. Got a question or comment? Email: myspace@abookforallseasons.com or leave us a comment below.
P.S. Don't miss our winery while visiting us here in Leavenworth. Come have a taste of wine with us at Eagle Creek Winery.

Hello! This is Kat and Sean, from Harmony by the Bay. We just wanted to say hello, and to tell you we wish you a grand year!
We have lot's of exciting things to tell you about in our world. First, we expanded our store last summer to include a kitchen full of Fiestaware and colored glass.
Second, we have our own web page now: www. harmonybythebay. com and here you can keep up to date with the latest information about our store and Port Gamble.
We are adding an online store, and that will be available just as soon as possible- we are working on it as we speak. Once we launch you can shop from the convenience of your office and home!
Finally, we are expanding - AGAIN! This time we are opening up the second floor to the store. We plan to have the work done by spring, and we will let you know as soon as it is ready!
So thank you for all of your support, and we look forward to continuing a long and prosperous friendship.
Blessings and abundance to you, Kat & Sean Harmony by the Bay
Every month Port Gamble is open one evening for a fun event called 'First Friday Artwalk'. Stores stay open late, artists are present to talk about their work, and the General Store hosts a gourmet meal.
This Friday we will be open late hosting local artist Corena Chamberlain. Corena makes beautiful candle luminaries that are wonderful accents to any home. Her new holiday colors are here, and they are superb!
Corena will share with you about her work, and she will also have special luminaries for sale at this event. Come see these and her new line of snowman luminary ornaments. They are cute and make great gifts!
In addition to our event, other Port Gamble stores will be open late. The General Store will be hosting a gourmet meal: this month the main entree is northwest salmon served with mango salsa! Yum!
We are open until 8:00pm, but last month friends were here later than that, shopping and laughing! We had a great time. Lights snacks and beverages will be served with laughs on the side.
So come out and see us this Frday, you will be glad you did!
Blessings and abundance to you, Katherine and Sean Harmony by the Bay
Our kitchen area in the store is finally open! We have sent along a picture for you to see how wonderful it turned out. In our new room we feature home and kitchen accessories, vintage colored glass displays, vintage pottery, and a variety of retired Fiesta Ware in a multitude of colors! We invite you to come see the changes, and get a head start on your christmas shopping! We have excellent gift ideas for you this holiday season.
Next Friday, November 7th, downtown Port Gamble will be open late until 8:00 PM. Local glass artists Susan Rodgers and Frogsong will be on hand at our store to talk about their fabulous work and answer your questions. Refreshments and lite snacks will be served, but if that is not enough, the General Store will be serving a gourmet meal.
A menu of Ginger Squash Soup, Rosemary Plum Pork Roast, Green Beans with Basil, Roasted Autumn Vegetables, Mini Butter Biscuits and a dessert of Pecan Pumpkin Torte RSVP is required for this delightful sit down meal, so check our page for details on cost and contact info. November 3rd is the deadline.
We look forward to seeing you this fall, and if you plan to attend our late Friday night event, we look forward to raising a glass with you.
"DIVERTING THE BUDDHA is an ambitious novel that delivers through a vivid portrayal of the treachery and deceit that emerged during the catastrophic Vietnam War. Bob Swartzel wastes little time in immersing his readers in a chaotic world where poor innocent people are caught between a corrupt Vietnamese leadership, as well as the self-interest of a few profiteers and an American foreign policy gone amok. Among the many achievements of this novel is Swartzel’s ability to provide his readers with a realistic sense of the historical setting the characters inhabit. It also vividly captures the chaotic theater of war where we witness a gritty epoch of guns, politics, treachery and economic self-interest.
No doubt there are many novels pertaining to the Vietnam War, however, this one stands out as an unforgettable tale at its most emotional and painful with its multiple perspectives pertaining to the politics and history recounted in human terms. ” Norm Goldman, B.A. LL.L, Publisher & Editor of Bookpleasures. com
