"When I was raped back in spring of 2006, I was devastated. I didn't know where to turn so I hid the memory in the back of my mnind, until I found out I was pregnant, then I couldn't hide it any more. When I went to some friends, some told me to have an abortion, seeing as how the child is from rape it would be better that way. But one true friend told me to check out Abort73. I am so thankful that I did, because when my son Ezekiel was born (pictured above), and I held him in my arms I couldn't imagine loving him more, even through the struggle, he brings me so much joy. I am overwhelmed knowing that he is alive today. Thanks." - Winnie Sherwood
As best we can tell, it was our "This is Abortion" video that cost us our first MySpace account. Though the video had been on our MySpace page for over 6 months, it started receiving massive viewership right before our account was pulled (which made the deletion even more painful). After receiving maybe 10 or 15 comments during the first 6 months, it suddenly received close to 300 comments in 2 days, pushing the total play count past 100,000. The next thing we knew, MySpace pulled the plug. So for now, if you want to see the video that MySpace doesn't want to show you, you'll have to watch it at Abort73.com
About me: Abort73.com is an exhaustive, online resource that comprehensively exposes the hidden violence and injustice of abortion. Even though abortion is one of the most common surgical procedures in the U.S., the average American knows almost nothing of its grim reality. High schools and universities go to great lengths to graphically expose the dangers of smoking, drunk-driving and STDs, but take a pass when it comes to accurately teaching about abortion. Abort73.com exists to tell you what almost no one else is, so go ahead, we dare you to know.
Who I'd like to meet: We're looking for courageous and compassionate people who want to make the world a safer place for unborn children by helping us introduce the world to Abort73.com. There are all sorts of ways you can get involved, but first, take a moment to join our email list. Abort73 has already had one MySpace account inexplicably deleted (costing us close to 6,000 friends). We love the networking and marketing capabilities MySpace provides, but we realize that our future here is by no means guaranteed. If you join our email list, we'll be able to keep in touch with you, even if they take us down again.
You have inspired me to gracefully never ever back down from this "argument." I was very pro-life as a kid, as a tween. Then I got too cool to talk about about. Then I got knocked up! At the age of 19, less than a year into my first enlistment in the military. And all the truth came back, incinerating the 5 seconds of panicked "reasoning," asking myself what I really thought about abortion, now that one would be "convenient" for me. I wanted to kick my own ass for even thinking about it, the more I thought about it. I poked at my flat 19 yr old abs, preparing for the worst, but thinking "I could never ever kill this little guy." I wrote the word "Mommy" on a scrap of paper in purple eyeliner and I cried. And... And I had... and HAVE the most brilliant little redheaded boy, and I cannot imagine a better life without him. He IS my better life. I have NEVER regretted letting that dime-sized person grow into the six-year old fire cracker asleep on my couch. Choose LIFE. You will not regret it. God Bless! <3
Thanks so much for being part of my page!!! Making new friends is always awesome :-) Take a moment and check out the new tracks on my profile...You can also check me out on facebook and youtube!!!! Much Love -Mark
Thanks for the add. I went from being pro-abortion to pro-life about 2 years ago. Except in the case of rape but after vesting your site I know now that even in that case it is wrong. I going to tell everyone about your site it’s an eye opener.
I feel like I don't say it as much as I should, but I want to let you know that I support your organization and everything that you're doing whole-heartedly. God bless you guys!
Thank you for the add and support, we are working hard to get the message of our music out there. Send me a comment or a message with what you think so far of our music. It will be a blessing to have that from you. Thanks again for your support.
i'm glad that there is an organization that is as strongly against abortion as i am. i know all those little ones thank you. :) everyone deserves a chance! :) ♥ God bless u! ♥
Dr. Tiller, performer of third-trimester abortions, snatches the life from thousands of unsuspecting infants from the one place they should be safe (the womb), and then HE gets his life unsuspectingly snatched from him in the one place he should be safe (church).
One moment these babies are alive; the next moment, they are murdered. One moment Dr. Tiller is alive; the next moment HE is murdered.
Violence is NOT the answer, but karma will get you every time.
