Quintet ABOUT A PLANE CRASH are an in-your-face, fantastically fresh-faced and metallically charged band hailing from the British town of Middlesbrough. They play a unique brand of groove-induced hardcore whilst introducing impressive sections of metals speed and moments of agonizing tranquillity.

Taking influences from bands such as Emmure, All Shall Perish and Bury Your Dead, ABOUT A PLANE CRASH stand for the contemporary breed of metal fan; hungry for the music and relentless in support and drive. Having released their first demo in 2007 which was readily received, the band recorded a second EP which focused on a mature evolution of the music without losing its fresh edge,

A live show from the band is crammed full of devastating breakdowns, blustering battery and an enigmatic vocal attack; crowds of avid devotees ferociously scramble to get to the front where vocalist Adam Smith squares up and demands attention. Those who know the lyrics will waste no time in singing their heart out, whilst others will suffice with stage-diving, head-banging and pitting!

The band are currently in the process of writing their first album which will be released early next year, you can find two tracks that will feature on the album on our band myspace - 'The Asphodel Meadows' and 'Deprivation' are just the start of what the album will deliver.
