QUOTES
"You're only allowed three great women in your lifetime. They come along like the great fighters, every ten years. Rocky Marciano. Sugar Ray Robinson. Joe Louis. Sometimes you get 'em all at once. Me? I had my three when I was 16. That happens. What are you gonna do? That's the way it goes, you know? Tell you right now. See this girl? Maybe this girl, she put wind in your sails. Maybe she's your first great one."
Sonny: Alright, listen to me. You pull up right where she lives, right? Before you get outta the car, you lock both doors. Then, get outta the car, you walk over to her. You bring her over to the car. Dig out the key, put it in the lock and open the door for her. Then you let her get in. Then you close the door. Then you walk around the back of the car and look through the rear window. If she doesn't reach over and lift up that button so that you can get in: dump her.
Calogero 'C' Anello: Just like that?
Sonny: Listen to me, kid. If she doesn't reach over and lift up that button so that you can get in, that means she's a selfish broad and all you're seeing is the tip of the iceberg. You dump her and you dump her fast.
Sonny: You gotta do what your heart tells you to do. Let me tell you somethin' right now. You're only allowed three great women in your lifetime. Maybe she's your first great one.

"Calogero Get's A New Nickname"
A video clip from Chazz's Broadway show!
NY POST Liz Smith Writes About the Show:
"GET THEE to the Walter Kerr Theatre for 90 minutes of the funniest, sweet est, most insane solo performance in town being given by Chazz Palminteri in "A Bronx Tale."
Once upon a time, Chazz was a doorman at nightspots in N.Y.C. and L.A. One night he was fired because he'd refused entrance to a short bald man with thick glasses. The man was powerful agent Irving Lazar, and it was Swifty's own party. So being fired, Chazz went to the Thrifty Drugstore where he bought paper and pencil and began writing his life story.
In 1993, Robert De Niro directed and acted - along with Palminteri - in the film version. Now Chazz, "live" onstage, is doing something else with his story. Incredible."
A NEW YORK CLASSIC COMES HOME.
Academy Award®-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri stars in his celebrated play, coming to Broadway for the first time, directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks. In A BRONX TALE, the original play on which he based the legendary movie, Palminteri brings his classic coming-of-age story to vivid life, depicting a young boy's rough childhood in 1960s-era Bronx and the unforgettable people he encountered.
Young Cologio admires his devoted and hard-working father, Lorenzo, but when he strikes up a friendship with the dangerous but lovable local crime boss, Sonny, he's introduced to a whole new set of aspirations. Caught between the influences of two vastly different father figures, in a turbulent neighborhood on the brink of social change, "C" is forced to make difficult choices about friendship, love and family -- choices that can change his life forever.
A timeless story about reaching your true potential and trusting your heart, A BRONX TALE is both a highly-anticipated Broadway premiere and a long-awaited New York homecoming -- at the Walter Kerr Theatre for 18 weeks only!

Thank you for the add, Mr.Palminteri! I love "A Bronx Tale". It's so much different from the other movies associated with "made" guys. It tells a different story. Of family, living life the right way and the wrong way, and love. It tells different stories that form into the perfect tale of a kid's life in the streets of the Bronx. I watch A Bronx Tale more than any other movies that I own. I hope to see your performance in May in Scranton,PA. I'm from the Pittsburgh area so hopefully my scheduling will allow it. God Bless!
