“History will prove us right” is what the Latin title of the Absentia Lunae’s new album “Historia Nobis Assentietvr” means.
Look at the faces on its cover, who stare at you: they are not phantoms of a more distant past, but rather nightmares of the days to come, offspring of modern times who feast on your spirit and crawl deeply in your blood.
There is an empty echo which resounds like a void swallowing everything, spreading a disease that can be called Modern World, bearing fake values, corrupted morals, religions, politics and ethics.
Do you understand the ramifications? Can you ? Can you see the nightmare approaching ? There is no Religion. No Unity. No Freedom. No Dictatorship. No Democracy. There is only Modern Slavery. “Historia Nobis Assentietvr” is strength, awareness, acknowledgement, drive to grow up. It’s following a path far beyond, making a journey towards a metaphorical arctic land, a place called in many ways: the Isle of the Dead, Ultima Thule, Agartthi, the Holy Mountain, the Philosopher's Mountain and so forth... It’s experiencing a necessary violent katharsis to accomplish such journey. Looking at the future over and beyond, fully aware of our timeless past, we do forward you:
