Absinthe New European Writing Journal's Blurbs |
About me:
Absinthe: New European Writing is a print journal featuring the best contemporary European writers. The journal includes poetry, prose, essays, interviews, book reviews, art, and author photos.
Absinthe: New European Writing is published biannually in the spring and fall.
Subscribe now at www.absinthenew.com so you don't miss out on Absinthe 10, which features Polish poets Jacek Podsiadło, Andrzej Bursa, and Krystyna Lenkowska; fiction and poetry from Turkey by Orhan Kemal, Birhan Keskin, and Murathan Mungan; and an essay taking us on a pilgrimage to Bulgaria’s monasteries with Tsvetanka Elenkova and Jonathan Dunne. In addition, there’s fantastic European poetry and fiction from Ireland to Russia and places in-between, book reviews, and a new column that will appear regularly by Thomas E. Kennedy, providing a glimpse into Copenhagen’s literary and artistic life.
