Sounds Like
Nothing you've ever heard, spoken word wise.
We drop the pretension and have fun with this stuff.
Catchy tunes and fun vocals make The Absinthe Drinkers
worth some space in your favorite music dispensing device.

The Absinthe Drinkers spawn catchy, original pop/funk/rock/whatever songs from works of literature ancient and modern. The Drinkers have funkified Baudelaire, punkified Shakespeare, and rockified a number of modern writers. The Drinkers also project original video during live shows, completing the facial orifice stimulating trifecta. They're still working on smellivision.

Fucking interesting, boys! Concept and sound. I've been putting off poetry for so long. My plan is to start with Whitman. Never did visit the Poe house when I lived in Philly (is it Spring Garden St?). Is there a Twain house too?
