Auld acquaintances were not forgotten this past 1st Wednesday at Absinthe Lounge as Mad Swirl brought in the double-aught nine with a night of beat-utiful swirling madness! T'was a night to remember and embrace...with old and new mad acquaintances spreading the poetic and musical voo-doo that they do do...appreciators sharing their handclaps, fingersnaps, hootinations and affirmations...thank-you Absinthe Lounge for helping bring in '09 with swirlin' vivacity on 01.07. 09!
Absinthe Lounge...thanks to you, part of the insane nation, under-ground, that swirled together in madness on the open mic – of the mad ones, by the mad ones, for the mad ones – this past 1st Wednesday for Mad Swirl Open Mic.
The truth was self-evident - that all poets & musicians are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are their poems, songs and the collective pursuit of madness!

I like the little green fairy thing. I was trying to check myself to see if I could relate to the little green fairy thing, but it was only after I whirled the little green fairy thing around that I snapped and figured out that I do indeed relate. What can I say? Sweet site? No. That's too quaint. Let's just say that the little green fairy thing was attractive to me at a moment of extreme puncticiliousness. Or whatever.
