Absolute Ambient is a Brighton based record label dedicated to music of mood, atmosphere and ambience.
Its main artist, Matt Coldrick, has just released his third album "Conscious Pilot" with his band Pan Electric. Five tracks from this album are being featured in Chris Klop's latest surf movie "Timewarp" (released this summer).
Matt has extensive experience writing music to picture and has credits writing title themes for BBC 1&2, ITV, CH4 as well as having written music for numerous TV Ads. More recently he composed and produced the soundtrack for the award winning “Crush” Sega PSP game................................................."Music can create an ambience that will change the listener's sense of space, time, emotion, connection, purpose, passion and sensitivity. It can offer a medium of common experience or a gateway to inner calm. It can stimulate the imagination and physically resonate with the body and in its purest expression can unite the souls of all who engage in its magic." Absolute Ambient's intent is to create and use music from this context, to widen the appreciation of its potential and its application and give depth and meaning to the awareness of the listener.
