Here's the problem - we have been influenced by literally everyone under the sun. We're all jazz players who like to blow off some steam playing our own brand of rock and roll. Absolute Stereo, for those of you who don't know us, has its roots in the rainy city of Seattle. Both Ken and Graham were born and raised in that coffee and computer town, and escaped to the stretching vastness of LA. Once in SOCAL, we found the funkiest piano player that we could, and started writing music...
In this initial formation we recording our first EP, Hi-Fidelity, available on CDbaby.After the love of our lives, drumsky, left this coast for cold climates and boston baked beans, we took a hiatus. NOW WE'RE BACK! With a new drummer driving the train, Absolute Stereo is hitting the pavement once again.
We're not really sure how to classify our music, but we're open to suggestions... its rock, funk, jazz... help us out with this one, but hope you like it, no matter what you'd like to call it.
Take some comments off the shelf and pour 'em into our coffee, show us some love, and spread the word on the new sound that is coming out of the city of angels.
