world fusion, sea chanties, folk punk, drunken Balkan carnie tunes, indie noise, acid jazz, downtempo, bhangra...
give me live music, djs, any reason to dance like a possessed jackelope.
yes of course I have a tv. but no cable. I sometimes miss the IFC and Fishing with John. oh, but Josh just got a projector, so our movie theater will be up and running soon too.
wait, I have been downloading things... mostly Project Runway, Afro Samurai, and I'm up to the 3rd season of Lost.

Who I'd like to meet: people who inspire, create, live with passion, use their powers for (mostly) good, laugh a lot, and bonus points if you can cook.
Awww, Pass the Snakey on the Left-Hand Side is my favorite! I miss you guys so much! I'm still on the snake adoption crusade. Also, I got a job at a dance studio so when you come down I'll hook you up with all the Belly Dancing and Samba lessons you can handle!
Hey, we caught you on king5 news last night. they did the piece on zombie thriller and I said "wouldn't it be funny if we see Abunni in the footage, and BOOM!, there you are doing an interview" good stuff, LOL.
I'm sorry you couldn't play laser tag yesterday... We've got til Oct. 30th to use our coupon!!! Get well, get well soon, we want you to get well!!! ;o)
Happy Birthday Sweet Cheeks! I didn't really forget my rollerskates-- I purposely left them there for the second annual pie jousting tournament. Have too much fun!!!
Nice to hear from ya. alot of good shows are coming up, and BRMC was excellent. I can't believe i never made it to see them live the previous 4 times, because the songs sounded badass live. It's rare to see a group and like their music more live rather on the album too.
waddup girl! just wanted to stop by and say hi. also i saw black rebel motorcycle club last sunday at the showbox and it was so badass! i was hoping that maybe you would have been there so we could party, since i missed them at bumbershoot when we were supposed to see them together. anyways, more parties are on the horizon. I'll def let you know the sit-chee-ay-shun, aiiight!.
I'm still alive. Just using facebook. You can always find out my last known daily highlights at http://marks2008travels. blogspot. com where I post much too regularly for a traveler in West Africa.
See you in 2009. We should have a French night where everyone must speak French and drink a sip of wine for each grammatical error. ;-) My French still sucks, but is getting much better being in Afrique francophonie.
