The band all started with a little idea that that someone had. The idea was put into action by pulling up a few friends and seeing if they would like to form a new band and make the best music possible that everybody could enjoy, a sound like no other, no copying style just pureABUSE! Fwah and Wes decided to call an old friend called Craig and see if he was interested in this little project, which undoubtedly he was. Without a bassist and a drummer what were they to do? Well they decided to pay a call to Craig's guitarist pal and friend since the age of 7 Chris (Starfish). Chris and Craig had worked together in music and stage, in school and in a previous band before, so he picked up his bass ... held it like Excalibur and shouted down the phone " I have the power!" After a few jam sessions and some serious song writing and hard work, Fwah thought they were ready for the stage! ... One small detail, NO DRUMMER! Considering there first gig was already booked and the hype of the band was getting around the local scene they asked ... Who knows a drummer? ... That's where our little friend and saviour photographer Megan came into the equation. A phone call was placed to Mr David Curtis, Prizewinning drummer and raving lunatic. They worked their butts off until the set was ready and they had a few good songs to express to people! Now Abuse have been established in the Bournemouth rock scene for two years, with a great fan base and other band helping them out and them helping other bands Abuse are now a comfortable professional rock act, moving around the country playing with signed bands and all types of bands! Since that very first gig we have been writing song after song of pure ABUSE. Emotional, powerful and energetic music of the future!
