Formed in the late 90s when Guy Sigsworth And Alexander Nilere bonded over treated guitars languorous melodies Stockhausen and The Sugarcubes, Their first gigs were more like art installations at the Lemonade Factory, they played behind muslin drapes in a circle ringed and invited the audience to pay with acacia honey. Their live show built them an enviable reputation with the press and the 'Camden Scene' The band personify their cultural diversity with Italian guitarist Luca Ramelli no stranger to catwalks or fuzzboxes, and drummer Eshan K is Mauritian/Irish but raised in Germany. Guy Sigsworth the well travelled harpsichord maestro electronic wizard producer from Yorkshire and enigimatic Alexander Nilere on vocals and words. Just before the new milleniumm ACACIA tour the world with Bjork played with Aphex Twins and worked with Imogen Heap who helped out on the album. They released 4 singles Hate, Sway, Maddening Shroud and Wired that were said to be way ahead of their time. After blowing a deal with Interscope they disbanded and went their separate ways. Well the time has finally caught up with their sound, the album has been re-recorded repackaged and re-released.
