About me:
Academy of Cinema and Television for Kids & Teens (A.C.T.) are private non academic / avocational schools for the performing arts. We are dedicated to helping our students earn, and maintain, an edge over the competition in the entertainment industry. Our cutting edge training centers have revolutionized education in on-camera acting, modeling, singing and dancing.
The selection process at A.C.T. is by invitation only. We concentrate on preparing a select group of talented young people to enter the entertainment industry. This process is made up of five components known as the “experience”; Workshops, Interviews, Photos, Talent Showcases and Exposure to Celebrities. Celebrities are invited to our school to enrich the learning experience of A.C.T. students. These events, which are held as an open forum with a question and answer session, make it possible for our students to get real world answers from working professionals in their dream field! There are many opportunities for photos and autographs, and parents are not only invited, but encouraged to participate.
While the A.C.T. “experience” focuses heavily on education for the arts, we also promote confidence, poise and self-esteem. This combination not only prepares young people to enter the entertainment industry, but also prepares them for success in life.
