A Cat Named Lola (ACNL) formed in Dublin in 2006.
Influenced by bands such as Counting Crows, Crowded House, Joni Mitchell and The Cardigans to name a few. ACNL have Built their sound around acoustic guitars and melodic female lead vocals complimented by interweaving harmonies playing on male female interplay. Their current incarnation as an acoustic 3 piece has seen them perform in varied venues throughout the city with more gigs lined up for Summer 2007. They also plan to broaden their sound during 2007 by expanding the current line up to include full rhythm section incorporating a more electric sound.
