Hailing from California, Rodney Thurman blends elements of crafty songwriting and grassroots rock n roll. This combination has created soothing melodic cuts with kicks of high energy rock that has captivated the attention of many. The poise of this self taught musician has turned the heads of industry professionals and labels throughout the U.S.
Currently, Rodney is finishing up his debut album with engineer, Luke Frederickson (winner of Minneapolis’s best rock engineer mix 2006). The album "A Cause To Rise" is to be promised with euphonious guitar hooks, steady potent drums, and unyielding vocal choruses that offer a refreshing twist to the in the young singer/songwriter scene of today. The album will contain a combination of 10 songs that are a mix of acoustic based recordings and full blown rock n roll.
