Though the name may imply otherwise Accidental Groove's distinctive sound is no accident. The quintet formed in the 90s, performing covers at local bars. Through the years the band has released 3 original albums, and has won more than 16 “Best of Hartford” awards including Best Cover Band, Best Original Band, Best Party Band and Best female lead vocalist 5 years in a row! Lead singer, DeAnna, from Hartford, CT has a voice reminiscent of Pink, No Doubt, and Kelly Clarkson. Complementing the bands performance and style, the bands lead guitar player, Keith La FLamme from Springfield, Massachusetts, is a solid rock player with strong vocal chops. His influences include the Beastie Boys and Eminem. Dave Bucalo, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, is the band’s keyboard player and vocalist. He nails every difficult harmony and puts the “magic sauce” on each song with his keyboard sounds. Holding down the rhythm section is Guy Drapeau, from Hartford, CT and Tony Barboza of Springfield, Massachusetts. These guys are the pocket players who hold every song together. Both are solid, energetic , experienced rock musicians with clear influences ranging from the 80s to today. Accidental Groove currently has the versatility to play a wide range of songs, including but not limited to bands such as: Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Evanescence, Big N Rich, Katy Perry, The Beastie Boys, No Doubt, Journey, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and even a few original songs. This group of veterans behind the powerhouse vocals and sheer energy that DeAnna brings to each show makes this band a must see!
