I started this band almost immediately after reading the 7th book, because now that the series is physically over, I am looking for new avenues of fandom.
I compose all the songs and play and write and sing them myself.
This band is not only from the POV of Harry, but also anyone else with something hidden in his/her soul. See, that's how I get away with writing the songs about anything I want.
I'm pretty much OBSESSED with Harry Potter. I started a club at my school last year, and unofficially became a chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance. Now, we are becoming an OFFICIAL chapter. The first, I think.

One of the reasons that I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter is that JKR slips references to problems in society into the books. Prejudice, genocide, etc. It's really important to me that people get informed about Darfur, Rwanda, the Holocaust, and other genocides, because the truth is that history repeats itself and an immense force is needed to cease this cycle.
