The Butterbeer Experience and half of The Moaning Myrtles are ecstatic to be planning a tour together! Check this space for more news and information on the tour and the EP!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Who are you touring with? This tour is made up of Lauren from The Moaning Myrtles and Lena from The Butterbeer Experience unless otherwise stated on the tour dates above.
Will you be selling your CDs and merch at the shows? Yes. Unless we run out before we get home.
Are you playing The Moaning Myrtles and The Butterbeer Experience music or just Accio Bodyguard? As of right now, Accio Bodyguard music consists of the three tracks in the player above. It would be a really short show if we didn't play our actual bands' music.
Why aren't you playing in my hometown?! Either one of the hundreds of venues I contacted there did not respond at all for the months I spent trying to book there or we can't physically reach it. I'm sorry.
Aw man, you're playing a whole hour away from me! That's SO far!! We're driving 4+ hours a day for almost an entire month. We would absolutely love for you to brave that hour in the car so you can see us because we don't know when we'll get the chance to come back there again.
How much are tickets? All the shows are free except the first one because the Amherst Museum charges $5 admission and that's where the show is.
Thank you SO much for coming to Armonk this monday. You are the world's most awesome wrockers!
We're sorry we didn't get to say goodbye properly. We had to clean up a little, put the vid equipment away, and lock up, which took a bit longer than we reckoned.
But anyway, we hope you had as good a time as we did, and made lots of gas money, plus a bit extra.
Haha thanks for coming last saturday! I am so glad you two didn't die in the heat. Good thing it wasn't the day after because we had code red heat the day after the show. Keep wrocking girls! -candace
So I've been thinking that you should make an Accio Bodyguard Tour CD. I know at the Alabama show, you sang at least 4 songs that aren't on anything else (at least I don't think they are on anything else). Plus, I bet you've written more songs since then. It would make a swell EP.
My comment is a week late, but the Orlando show was amazing! You guys were awesome. And over a hour drive being a problem? I drove a total of 7 hours, was in a traffic jam for over an hour and was awake for 21 hours, just to go to this tour and it was well worth it :D
You guys are having so much fun! That makes it even harder for me to not be able to go! Yup, something major came up and I have to miss BOTH Maryland shows!! Unless something super magical happens, I'm not going to be there! Major fail on my part! I hope you guys have a great rest of your tour, though! And promise you'll come play sometime out in Colorado! If Lena likes it, maybe come back next summer??
So, super duper sorry about missing your shows. They're going to be fantastic!!
Ok. So, scratch that last comment. After a great deal of begging and bribing I totally got to go play with y'all and that is made of win. Come back anytime, it was so much fun hanging out with y'all.
So, because my life has to suck as much as possible, I have to work through the only wrock show in Charleston. This makes me wanna cry. It's a big changeover thing and there is 100% no was to get out of it. No one ever comes to Charleston and the one time I get lucky enough for someone to come I can't even go. Fail. :(
Listen up everyone... It's totally worth a long drive to see the Accio Bodyguard Tour! They added some really cool instruments and are playing new songs!
-anger anger anger-. I am torn up inside because there is no Jacksonville show. And the closest show is like Palm Coast which is still three hours. Whatever will I do without my much anticipated Accio Bodyguard show?!?
Yay! 2 Maryland shows!! I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking of just finding somewhere to stay up there so I don't drive 3 hours each day. Hopefully I can get some friends to come along, too!
Have you guys gotten anything for the Virginia Beach show?
