About me: Dear friends, make your mama proud and check out our event this Sunday...
We are supporting groups here in San Jose and around the country in demanding full legalization and to stop the raids by Bush and La Migra. We are supporting building a movement for justice here in San Jose. Add our page and watch for our bulletins with events, protests and info on how to get involved.
May Day 2006 her/history was made. The world watched as millions marched and boycotted the economy. We shut down the economy in many key cities, states and border entries. In Los Angeles alone, five million plus workers shut down all types of industries. In the Midwest meat packing industries and auto parts plants were shutdown. In Florida, agriculture and construction companies closed. In many other cities the boycott succeeded. Students walked out voicing their opinions and leading the im(mi)gration movement. In 2007, the people came out again to commemorate our struggle, continue demanding legalization and justice and an end to the raids on communities.

Who I'd like to meet: All those who are down to fight for justice. All those who believe in change. All those who believe another world is possible.

Que paso! Second Part Check it out. The Raging Grannies sent this to me. PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL INTERESTED IMMIGRANT RIGHTS ACTIVISTS!
David Ledesma and the Raging Grannies (Las Abuelitas Enojadas) are calling all our immigrat rights activist friends. We need everyone at the following CounterProtest against the Golden Gate Minutemen who have announced via their website that they are bringing their anti-immigrant message to Campbell/San Jose a second time.
When: Saturday July 14 Time: Set up starts at 11:30am. Come help us claim our corner! Announced Demo is from noon. (End time 2pm) Where: Intersection of Bascom Ave and Hamilton Blvd. (Campbell/San Jose border)
Raging Grannies will claim the corner in front of Blockbuster Video. Look for us! There is plenty of parking directly behind the Blockbuster and a Jamba Juice and a Peet's-type coffee shop.
Bring your own signs (emphasis on the positive Campbell/San Jose are Hate Free, Honk for Immigrant Rights, etc.) and the Grannies will provide some material for signs as well.
It feels so good to see those pictures from Campbell! I couldn't BELIEVE there was such a large racist minutemen crowd in Redwood City a couple weekends back. You can rest assured I pulled my car over and gave that crowd a piece of my mind, but one is not enough. Great job in Campbell and keep up the fight.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND JUST STOPPING BY TO SHOW SOME LOVE TO YOUR PAGE.....
OH YEAH, HOW WAS YOUR WEEK?
MINE HAS SUCKED! I AM DEBATING ON WHETHER TO THROW THE CHICANO COMEDY JAM AT THE SAN JOSE IMPROV OR JUST KEEP IT BEYOND REAL AND THROW IT AT PAL STADIUM IN EAST SAN JOSE OR GO FOR THE SPOT WITH "DRINK SPECIALS" AT MEXICO LINDO BUT IF I GO THERE WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE THREE SHOWS IN ONE NIGHT.
WHICH SPOT WOULD BE THE MOST CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR YOU?
THE LAST THING I WANT IS TO SEE MY LISTENERS BE OVERPRICED AT THE BAR.
NO PROBLEM. I'M ALWAYS TRYING TO BE THERE 4 MY RAZA SO IF I FINISH MY SCHOOL PROJECT ON TIME I'LL BE THERE 4 SURE. THANKS 4 THE BULLETIN, ITS GOOD TO GET UPDATED.
As the second largest march in Los Angeles (at MacArthur Park) was coming to an end, the LAPD provokes, harasses, assaults, and finally beat the protestors (who were visibly made up of women, children, and elderly people)
